WHAT IS ONLINE LIFE COACHING?
Online life coaching is a personalized, supportive partnership designed to help you grow in every area of life—mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and physical. It begins by identifying where you want to grow and creating strategies to help you get there. Through one-on-one guidance, online coaching helps you build clarity, confidence, and resilience while moving toward your personal or professional goals. Whether you’re seeking greater balance, improved well-being, or a sense of purpose, coaching provides the tools and support to help you feel more confident, fulfilled, and on track with the life you want to create.
My role as your coach is to guide you in understanding yourself more deeply, not to do the work for you. I will guide you in uncovering your core beliefs and values, and using those as the foundation to plan your ideal future. After each session, you’ll have simple exercises or reflections to work on—because real progress happens between our conversations. I’ll support you every step of the way, but your commitment and accountability are what will make the biggest difference in creating lasting change.
WHAT IS LIFE COACHING NOT?
Life coaching is not therapy, counselling, or a substitute for professional mental health care. It doesn’t involve diagnosing or treating mental health conditions, exploring deep trauma, or focusing primarily on the past.
Instead, coaching is forward-looking and action-oriented. It’s about helping you gain clarity, build confidence, and create practical steps to achieve your goals. While we may touch on past experiences if they’re affecting your present, our focus is on where you are now and where you want to go.
Coaching is also not about giving you all the answers. It’s a collaborative process where I help you uncover your own insights, strengths, and solutions, so you feel empowered to create lasting change.

HOW IS COACHING DIFFERENT FROM COUNSELLING?
While both coaching and counselling provide support, they serve different purposes. Counselling often focuses on exploring and healing past experiences, emotional challenges, or mental health concerns. It helps you process what’s behind you so you can find understanding and healing.
Coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused. It’s about helping you identify where you are now, clarify where you want to be, and create practical strategies to get there. As your coach, I don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions—instead, I partner with you to uncover what’s possible, build your confidence, and help you take actionable steps toward your goals.
In short, counselling helps you work through the past; coaching helps you create your future.
DO YOU OFFER A FIRST-TIME FREE SESSION?
Yes! I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation so we can get to know each other and see if we’re the right fit.
Every coaching relationship is unique, and it’s important that we both feel comfortable working together. During this session, we’ll talk about your goals, what you’re hoping to achieve, and how I can support you along the way.
I do ask one thing from anyone considering coaching with me: a genuine desire for change. Coaching works best when you’re ready to take action and commit to your growth—and I’m here to help guide and support you every step of the way.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL SESSION LOOK LIKE?
Our time together is online over Zoom or Google Meet: one-on-one in the comfort of our respective homes or wherever you happen to be at the time. Our sessions are a full hour in length, once a week or on the schedule set out in the plan to which you subscribe. But, you also have access to me 7-days a week via private messaging and email for expert accountability if you are ever in need of support.

I'M NOT SURE FOR WHAT I NEED A LIFE COACH
The truth is you don’t really need to choose what area of your life you want to work on now. I take a holistic approach, looking at the bigger picture of your life so we can understand how everything connects. From there, we’ll gently narrow our focus to the areas that matter most to you. These sessions are your space, so you’ll always have a voice in where we go and what we explore together. To make sure we start off with clarity and direction, you’ll complete a short questionnaire when booking your free discovery call—helping us identify your goals and ensuring our time together is focused on what matters most to you.
HOW MANY COACHING SESSIONS DO I NEED?
The number of sessions you’ll need depends on your unique situation, your goals, and how quickly you want to move forward. It also comes down to your level of commitment—are you ready to follow through on the actions and plans we create together?
Some people make progress quickly and need only a few sessions, while others benefit from more time and support, especially if they feel stuck or find it challenging to take consistent steps forward. If that happens, we’ll work together to uncover what’s really holding you back so we can address it and help you move ahead with confidence.
Ultimately, the pace and length of your coaching journey are completely up to you, and we’ll adjust as we go to make sure you get the support you need.
ARE OUR SESSIONS CONFIDENTIAL?
Your privacy is incredibly important, and I want you to feel completely safe sharing openly during our sessions. I’ll never share anything you tell me with anyone else unless you give me written permission to do so.
There are, however, a few rare situations where I may need to share information. These include:
- a) If I already had the information before you shared it.
- b) If it’s something publicly known or common knowledge in your industry.
- c) If I learned it from someone else without breaking any agreements.
- d) If I developed the information on my own, without referencing what you shared.
- e) If I’m legally required to share it by law, a subpoena, or court order.
- f) If I believe there’s an imminent risk of harm to you or someone else.
- g) If the information involves illegal activity.
If you ever have any questions or concerns about confidentiality, please bring them up right away so we can talk through them and make sure you always feel supported and secure.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL A SESSION?
Accountability is an important part of helping you reach your full potential. Coaching is a journey, and sometimes that journey takes a little time and consistency with regular sessions.
If you ever need to cancel a session, no problem—just let me know at least 24 hours in advance so we can adjust. If something comes up last minute and it’s an emergency, we’ll work together to find a solution, but otherwise, missed sessions can’t be made up.
If you decide to wrap up your coaching package, I simply ask for a minimum of one week’s written notice so we can close things out smoothly and make sure you get the most out of our time together.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE CHANGES IN MY LIFE?
Change begins the moment you commit to it, and every step forward—no matter how small—creates momentum. While big shifts, like transforming your body or completely reshaping your life, don’t happen overnight, you’ll often start noticing change in powerful ways much sooner than you expect.
One of the first things people experience is a shift in perspective. Old beliefs and patterns that once held you back start to dissolve, making room for fresh, empowering thoughts. These new beliefs spark new actions, and those actions begin to open doors to the life you’re working toward.
With The Guided Life Coaching, you won’t be walking this path alone. If you ever feel stuck or unsure why progress feels slow, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back and help you move forward with clarity and confidence. Every session is a step toward the change you’re seeking—and those steps can add up to something extraordinary.
WHAT IF MY PAST ISSUES STAND IN THE WAY OF MY PROGRESS?
It’s completely normal to worry that your past might get in the way of moving forward. Many people feel that way when they start coaching. While coaching is focused on helping you create the future you want, it’s not designed to resolve deep emotional wounds or heal past trauma.
If we discover that something from your past is creating a significant roadblock, I’ll gently suggest that you consider working with a licensed counselor or therapist who can help you address those deeper issues. At the same time, we can continue working together to help you build new habits, perspectives, and goals for your life moving forward.
Coaching is about empowering you to take action in the present and create lasting change. When paired with the right professional support, it can be a powerful part of your growth and healing journey.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?
To make the process simple and flexible, I offer several ways for clients to submit payment for coaching sessions and packages.
1. Interac e-Transfer (Canada)
Send payments directly from your bank account to mine using Interac e-Transfer. All you need is my email address, which will be provided on your invoice. This is a secure and quick option for Canadian clients.
2. Bank Transfer or Wire Transfer
For those who prefer direct deposit, you can transfer payment directly to my bank account. Details will be shared upon request or included on your invoice. This is ideal for both local and international clients.
3. Cash (For In-Person Sessions)
Cash payments are accepted for in-person sessions. A receipt will always be provided for your records.
4. Wise (for International Clients)
For clients outside Canada, Wise (formerly TransferWise) offers a cost-effective and secure way to send payment in your local currency.
5. PayPal
For your convenience, you can also submit payment securely through PayPal. You can use your PayPal balance, bank account, or credit card to complete your payment. A PayPal payment link will be included on your invoice for easy access.
